Re : "voice recognition" versus "speech recognition" -- Although what you are saying makes perfect sense, I have this feeling that your (or anyone's) attempts to get people to start using the terms correctly will be like ... When a teacher tries to instill in her (young) students the distinction between : "Can I have a glass of water ?" and "May I have a glass of water ?" This distinction was explained to me (and probably everyone else in the U.S.) many times, but it took a long time for me to start "talking good." Jon.
