You make the mistake of applying correct logic to part of your argument and then extrapolating it to another part of your argument which leads to an erroneous conclusion. I.E. on the short term, markets are unpredictable. That is not true for the very long term where market direction is determined by profit and growth. Just because markets are unpredictable on the short term, does not make them unpredictable in all timeframes (timeframe is irrelevant.)

Your argument is the equivalent of saying that since the sun rises every day and since the sun rises on Sunday, every day must be a Sunday.
