as far as making war and being depraved goes...let me say that i find it much more depraved to take a solemn oath before God, "to protect and defend the constitution of the United States from all enemies enemies both foreign and domestic"...and then not only fail to perform that duty...but initiate actions that make it difficult or impossible for others who have taken the same oath to perform their duty willingly. Well, that certainly takes care of the American political class since they've all, at one time or another, voted against portions of the Defense Dept budget requests. And, I have little doubt, most have voted for Defense Dept requests they had every reason to believe only benefited political donors in their own districts or states and had little or nothing to do with defense. Pretty wide swath of American society involved here. And, if we got serious here, I might even agree with you on some of this.
