meaning? They are wrong now, but holding a losing trade until it turns into a winner or it is one of those rare instances where they will have to take their lumps?

Don't know how much of those shorts were from 280, but I suspect that they aren't going to be hugely right from that level any time soon, even if there is a pullback.
