<diluting higher grade LC with lower grade Brisas makes sense> Another statement of "fact" you just dreamed up to suit your fantasy?

Both Las Cristinas and Brias vary in grade depending on where the samples have been taken. (check out the Blue Whale area of Brias - well documented on the GLR web site which I posted previously)..

Vanessa's so called plan (actually Vannessa themselves only called it as a proposal - you elevated it to a plan) to "high grade" Las Cristinas was simply a ploy to keep the CVG on a string a little longer and to keep the bed warm for their ultimate master Placer Dome...

Funny I don't see Vannessa or Placer Dome in this list....

biz.yahoo.com

"Seven companies have already expressed interest, mostly from Canada and South Africa," CVG President Gen. Francisco Rangel told local television......
......Rangel has previously said that the firms interested in Las Cristinas were South Africa's AngloGold Ltd. (ANGJ.J) and Gold Fields Ltd. (GFIJ.J), and Canadian miners Barrick Gold Corp. (Toronto:ABX.TO - News), Crystallex International Corp. (Toronto:KRY.TO - News), Goldcorp Inc. (Toronto:G.TO - News), Gold Reserve Corp. (Toronto:GLRa.TO - News) and Gammon Lake Resources Inc. (Toronto:GAM.TO - News).

They did get more than a mention in this one though....
"Wednesday, July 3, 2002 -- Vancouver-based Vannessa Ventures ( VVV ) is accusing the Venezuelan Guayana Corporation ( CVG ) of issuing false press releases

vheadline.com
Obviously Vannessa knows how to impress a proposed partner; accuse them of lying to the press.

This report quotes the cost of the project at $850 million USD. That's a bit out of the range of $1.42 million ( Canadian pesos ) Vannessas says it can raise.

bnamericas.com

And this quote says it all...
Regardless of Vannessa's posturing it seems that the Venezuelan government is determined to push this ahead.

As does this...
