I would hypothesize that over the course of time that Elgindy met with more agents than just Royer and Wingate. Perhaps over drinks, or at parties, cups of coffee maybe--the Internet? I think it's reasonable to at least pose this question: Could there have been information, intended or otherwise, from one side (FBI contacts which we now know Elgindy had well established) coupled with information from the other side (various radical Muslim sources which Elgindy very easily could have established via family relations, etc.) which, together, enabled him to put two and two together, that America's financial markets would be attacked? So let's now consider other interesting stuff, and that may well be what it is only--interesting stuff: a) Are America's 'buy drugs help the terrorists' ads a cover-all of some kind for how terrorists actually do fund their operations, i.e., market activity (bonds and short-selling or whatever)? I'd think it'd be extremely awkward for America to formally acknowledge its own markets were behind funding terrorist operations. Sorta a hard pill to swallow politically-speaking. b) Could Elgindy have had discussions or activities amongst Muslim financiers who themselves may have been tipped to or asked to participate in the financial aspect of 9/11. Was the term "911" bandied about in subtle ways, code even, within certain circles, and could Elgindy have picked up on this? Was he perhaps asked to provide assistance? Could he have refused, but used this knowledge to put two and two together and thus do the things which now lead the feds to question whether he knew about 9/11, or not? Bottom line is what we have here is some serious intrigue that's captured SI enthusiasts in a most extraordinary manner. Like why am I even writing this post--lol! Man, I wish I knew the Internet was gonna be--I wouldda bought stock in it--lol!!! [NOTE: I actually did in varying ways but was either on the wrong bus, too late or picking up only tidbits of it all--I did OK, but I certainly didn't get rich like some. So it goes!]
