Yes! He's from Texas, but just for the record it is still a legal obligation for the men in this country to sign up for the draft(even though we no longer use the system)..but it is still the law. And of the 50 states, guess where the state of Texas ranks in the young men complying with this law....YEP! #48 Only beat out by the patriots in Louisiana and Hawaii. One must wonder if the young men of Texas have taken to heart the standard set by Shrub. If not Shrub, then President Cheney...the one who said he had better things to do than serve in the military. Just think....all those names craved on the various Memorial Walls and for whom we celebrate today...and the President and Vice-President allowed their names to be placed there because they felt they were better than the common man and stayed out of harms way.
