Michael, Dollar took a tumble. You could be right that it may go straight down. I was expecting a bounce today on the dollar index and we got nothing.
What might have messed up this possibility was the news that Japan was buying dollars last week to push the YEN lower....and yet it still went higher. The central bank over there may just not have the ammo to counter market forces that are at work. Most of the other Asian central banks are probably in a great position to defend their own currencies but probably did not anticipate having to weaken them.

We shall see as we are now right at the September 2001 dollar lows.
