On second read, it seems like you have it under control, but I would still run NAV by booting directly from the CD.

Petz, that's what I tried to do before but couldn't. I don't know whether it was due to the worm or there was something wrong with the CD. I thought the CD may be corrupted by the worm but Gottfried said that's not possible.

My concern is that the worm somehow infected the NAV CD, and so, the worm will be able to get back into my pc. Do you think that's a realistic concern?
