Flap,
Don't confuse the Mensa King with facts. He is still trying to figure out who is delivery facts to his brain, as apparently someone has put a hold on his current delivery system.

And to think....five federal cases brought against what obviously is Republican efforts to prevent CITIZENS from voting and this Bastion of American pride is proud that he attended a protest to get votes counted that weren't submitted in a proper manner.....and juxtapose this FACT with peopling standing in line to vote and they were denied.

And this cretin wants to support democracy! And stupid me thought the right to vote was a hallmark of our nation's liberties.

Why have there been no federal lawsuits filed over this so-called disenfranchisement of the military vote?

YOU GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT! THE MILITARY CANNOT FILE SUIT AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT!!!!

You're jumping the gun. Note the news says they "will" file lawsuits and the fact of the matter is they have said this for a week and that their prediction is only that they will file "well in advance of the primaries for the Nov. 2002 elections" and within the next "2 months". It is so amusing that an effort to block ex-felons from voting gets such a rise from the left. It's also interesting to note that voting rights are restored in most states to felons that have served their time.....but not 2nd amendment rights. They must petition the court, as in Florida the ex-felon must petition for restoration of his/her voting rights. If I had to choose, I would think petitioning the court would be a positive for society as a whole.

Why have there been no federal lawsuits filed over this so-called disenfranchisement of the military vote? Instead, why did
the Justice Department last week file five lawsuits
involving Republican-controlled county election boards (three in Florida)
... for seeking to prevent minorities from voting?
