Good morning. Although the political allegory was heavy handed, I thought that the movie had an existential validity, about the beauty and danger of living more vividly.....

I was struck reading the following remark by a Corps of Engineers spokesman concerning recovery efforts at the collapsed bridge in Oklahoma: :``It's so hard because we're playing with Mother Nature, and Mother Nature doesn't play fair,'' said Ross Adkins, a corps spokesman. : I am always amused when people say that Mother Nature isn't fair, or God isn't fair, as though God or nature should follow human standards of fairness.
