The affects of gas are dependent on factors such as health, age, etc. To be effective, gas would need to be calculated to the highest denominator. One would thus expect infants and others to die, or to suffer harm. Nevertheless--electrical dart guns, small caliber fire, and gas...are all valid considerations.

A gun is fairly safe, IMO. But I think the access, or usage, should demand a double code between pilot and co-pilot. People do go crazy. People do commit suicide. Toast does get burn't sometimes; and one never knows when an erection is no longer sufficient to fly a plane...
