I oppose any investigations of the kind suggested by Daschle, et al., especially with an election close on heels.... And I'm not sure this is the appropriate time while our troops are in the field and before the Administration has a chance to address some of the more obvious deficiencies on its own initiative. Bush himself has called for investigations at the appropriate time....Its partisan political baloney....
