"however inefficient" You miss the point entirely. They are destroying their system and are in a race against time to create a new one. In southern China you would be hard pressed to find any evidence of what you call the "Chinese system" -- it is pure unadulterated capitalism. Most of the rest of the country will be there within five years if not much sooner.
