I 4 1 am glad to see this line in the sand Now we can argue about "common benches" <g> "They have never defined what they mean by hammer performance. They claim 3400+ but they won't say how that is defined. It appears that it is relative to a 3.4GHz TBird and that won't be a world beater. At ship time, my expectation is that it should also beat (by any margin) the fastest available P4 (any core in its class) on at least 75% of the above "common" benches. That is consistent with the hype pumped out by AMD and I think Hammer won't live up to the hype. EP ciao d
