"If we wanted to take over the world, we would have done it a long time ago" It wasn't possible. Now it is. But it isn't a good idea... It is isn't American to be a colonizing empire... It isn't American to engage in a future series of otherwise unecessary battles with megadeaths. That, however is the direction we are headed, in so-called "self-defense". If that is truly required for self-defense that is regrettable, expensive, and a lifelong campaign for America and our descendants. If it is not, now is the time to examine the alternatives very carefully.
