I have been pretty generally disgusted with this flame war. Laz had to beat the dead horse; Christopher is falling into blanket defensiveness, instead of "owning" his blame in the matter; JLA and Bill are piling on. I admit that one of the worst things I have seen is the reaction to mentioning your mother's death. That is a time to apologize and shut up, not ratchet up the flame war, and JLA blew it. On the other hand, I cannot abide all of this falderol about right- wingers when you have expressed sentiments about as right- wing as anyone else around here, and I especially dislike the Nazi reference. If Beanie Babies becomes habitable, I may be back, but for now, I think I will avoid posting here, at least for a day or two. If I fail to respond to a post on Beanies, that is why. I will respond to something attached to this, but that is it for awhile........
