"Remember, the sister becomes a more serious person as a result, instead of a tease."

This is the exact point my daughter (who likes the stupid movie) harps on when I say I don't like it.

I considered the sister as a token convert conservative. But that is not my complaint. It was only ok for her to be conservative if she had first been a slut.

If you were not first a victim of the establishment you were a monsterous automaton of the establishment.

How would a person living a life established on solid principles, based on values and mores be portrayed in that movie? They were the monstrous straight people.

The problem that I had with the movie was that the author was very black and white about what would be considered the lucid happy life and who qualifies. It seemed hypocritical to me and I didn't like the message.
