Before following, you need to understand the logic first.
From looking at your essay,
you are confusing "invalidate transaction", which is
address-only transaction, with flushing of actual data.
The two operations were split explicitly to save
system bandwidth. Period. On the other hand, "flushing"
and "writing back" are synonyms.
