It actually began to look like a victory parade I think that is a totally uncalled for characterization. All that happened was that the thread returned to normal. Whatever "normal" may be, it was a lot better than what I have seen today. As to Poet, I feel very sorry for her, because I think her intimate life was ultimately exposed here in a tawdry, cheapening way. I lay the blame for that every bit as much at the feet of her "defenders" ... for incessantly haranguing the issue in a crude, bullying, loud-mouthed way on the public threads ... as I might lay it at CH's feet for the posts he made that started it. If anyone thinks that all the crap that flew back and forth here today had anything to do with Poet ... was in any way for the betterment of her interests or her peace of mind ... they are sadly deluding themselves. This was nothing more than a barroom brawl, who can get in the best punches. In my opinion, whatever guilt or shame falls upon CH is quite matched by that which falls upon the people she apparently considers as friends. The way I see it, with friends like that, you certainly don't need enemies. And that is exactly how I would see if it had involved my wife.
