That sort of timely, real data is valuable so please keep posting the figures.

When it only went up two thousand early last week I thought either the economy was doing better or they were fudging the numbers.

What happens when the extended benefits run out. Is it starvation time or is their a safety net type lower tier of benefits?

Since 4 Democratic Senators represent NY and NJ, action from the Senate for more unemployment candy in form of at least employor subsidies is to be expected IMO. Only one is up for reelection, Bob "$700 Armani suit" Torecilli, but he is fairly safe bet to win for a variety of reasons I need not get into in this post. Welfare reform forces welfare recipents to work and as long as Home Depot / Lowes and Target/Walmart/Kohls try to out big box store each other there will be plenty of minimum wage jobs for anyone wanting one. That no. #1 fear out there there will not be enough 2nd part time retail jobs for homeowners and primary minimum wage jobs for the poor with diminshed welfare progeam in place now if consumers stops spending because housing appreciation bubble game stops.

Please tell me about when you see this issue covered by the BBC news because we will not hear about this pending crisis on American TV.
