U.C. Berkeley was actively discriminating against Asian applicants as a result of affirmative action. There were too many qualified applicants (upwards of 25% of their applicant pool).

Now that affirmative action is banned they are doing away with the SAT. Asians are supposedly over-represented in the higher percentiles.
