Gus, from what you have said, it seems to me that IPAN represents the business interests on American and overseas businesses in India. It seems their claim to fame is lobbying with the Indian government to open up their markets for foreign businesses. Are they into lobbying on political issues?

On the "update your geopolitical file" issue, in case you did not know, you missed out two leaders of the 5 who congregated in Bandung. Those two were President Sukarno of Indonesia and Prime Minister Chou En-Lai of Communist China. Furthermore, the non-aligned movement did not loose its clout because of the fall of the Soviets and the Warsaw pact countries. IMO, it lost out because China started forming a third power bloc besides NATO and the Warsaw pact. The non-aligned movement is a big long story with roots in 1952 Suez crisis, the birth of Israel, the freedom of India from British rule, the Gary Powers spy story etc. etc. Hence it is not a buzzword and it was in the late 50's and early 60's that it started to gain momentum. The leaders you mention died in the 60's.
