"Can they go lower? Sure, but they aren't going to zero,"

For some reason I don't find any comfort in that statement. <VBG>

Dan, "My strategy is to scale into quality companies that have good balance sheets and wait for the inevitable profit. If they go lower, I'll buy more. If they go up, I'll take a little off the table."

Dan, Do you have an exit strategy in this if things don't go your way? It appears also that you would be selling your gainers and hanging on and adding to your losers. If I'm reading this right it doesn't sound like good portfolio management to me. I haven't been around long enough to know what your track record is like but I don't think I've ever seen that strategy work. Please forgive me if I misinterpreted it.

Dan look a about any tech chart and tell me shorting that stock over the past 2 years would not have made you money?

Stocks fall faster than they go up and profit taking on rallies has been the rule for quite some time. And is one better to be short as stock or be down 50% in a long position? after all a 50% move up in price only get one back to BE, no?

Does that apply to CIEN, INTV, JDSU, NUAN, and SPWX?

What has the earning been on these the last couple quarters and what is the forecast?
