That's a sword that cuts both ways. Full disclosure would have shown that Joseph McCarthy was correct in many of his assertions (as most likely, FBI Director Hoover was feeding the Senator information from decoded Soviet Intel Communications). Full disclosure would have shown that the Soviets had agents very deep in FDR's Administration (and therefore the Democratic Party?), and the State Department.

BTW, Doesn't "Operation Northwoods" show just how staunchly anti communist President Kennedy was? It also shows, just how deep the grudge was between the Kennedy Brothers and Castro. BTW, much of this information has been out there (released) for 4 to 5 years. Remember, the request for these ideas of action came from the Kennedy White House, they were not unsolicited.
