This is some politically incorrect opinion about Islam:
Where are the voices of the "moderate" Muslims in the world? We keep being
told that the current terrorist attacks are the work of a fanatic few that are
inspired by radical Islamic mullahs. If this were the case, why don't the
moderates expose these "people" and clean up Islam's act? I believe I have
the answer.

Here is a passage from "Among the Believers" by V.S. Naipaul that sheds
some light on this phenomenon. He was talking to some Malays about the
ethnic Chinese in Malaysia that do well in the business world.

"The Chinese try to monopoly [sic] our economy. They are good businessmen. We are left
behind. It isn't true what they say about Malays being lazy. We know it isn't true, but it
hurts us to hear these things. If we don't have the Chinese we could be good business
people."

The "moderate" Muslims in the world are looking at the fanatic Islamics as a way to a better life. It's not
because they think Islam is any better than any other philosophy or religion. It is because they know
that if the fanatics take over, they will eliminate the competition in the world to their better life.

A classic example of this in history is Krystalnacht (Crystal Night) in 1939; the night of broken crystal,
when there was a sweep of the state-empowered police and young Nazis through the Jewish sections of
the German cities. Every pane of glass that was in any way related to the Jewish culture -- be it the
window of a store, a synagogue, or a private home -- was shattered.

While most of the German people did not participate in the carnage, they benefited from its results. This
benefit included removing Jewish competition for German-owned businesses. Wouldn't the German
grocer across the street privately be happy if his Jewish competitor was driven out of business? German
doctors in these cities just got a whole new set of clients taken from Jewish doctors who were driven out
of business or killed. Jewish real estate was confiscated and given to Germans.

The "moderate" Muslims are thinking the same thing. Wouldn't it be nice to own that palatial estate in
Virginia? Wouldn't it be nice to plunder the riches of the West? Wouldn't be nice to have that Director's
position in the local corporation? They don't have this now but they look to the Islamic movement as a
means to get it for them.

These folks are actual cowards. They will take the side of the winner in the struggle between Islam and
the West. If the West wins, they will declare that Islam is Peace and they never supported terrorism. If
Islam wins they will declare that God is Great and grab their share of the spoils.

In either case they should be detested for the hypocrites that they are.

I follow no religion except good ole common sense my poor misguided friend. Every religion, driven by man, is as corrupt as a mad hatter. Some more-so than others...but then, it is just a matter of time.
