combjelly,

I was wondering about 2 flash related questions that you may be able to answer:

1. How does the number of erase cycles of flash compare to hard disk

2. On Mirrorbit, AMD stores 2 distinct values in 1 cell, the way I understand it in 2 distinct storage areas. Intel has 1 storage area which can have 4 values, which simulates 2 bits. StrataFlash could theoretically be extended to store 4 bits if there was a way to distinguish reliably between 16 thresholds. Anyway, is it possible to extend MirrorBit from 2 to 4 bits per cell?
