I got my Camelot from "The Once and Future King", although I took a heavy dose of Mallory when I was older. Scott I somehow missed, until after college. I did read some Shakespeare, and various Elizabethan poets, as well as Wordsworth, Shelley, Tennyson, Byron, and the like. I used to watch "Firing Line", when it was syndicated, and picked up some of William Buckley's accent, what is today called "Mid- Atlantic". It more or less stuck, partially because I liked to read poetry aloud, and got lots of practice.........
