I think priority #1 with CORV management right now is riding out the downturn in telecom by conserving cash while continuing to develop the all optical technology and make strategic mergers.

Buying back stock would give the stock a boost short term, but would also deplete cash and reduce the time which CORV could ride through the present downturn.

I happen to agree with their strategy, though it pains me to take a loss on the stock. I'll be back in later when the stock seems truly to have bottomed, and when a rebound appears closer at hand than 1-2 years off.
