Pravin: "executives from Caldera, Conectiva, SuSE and Turbolinux on Thursday will make "a major announcement that will change the shape of Linux worldwide." Should be an interesting day tomorrow...So many "converging information bits" about global changes about to erupt in the microprocessing world...INTC could lose marketshare at an accelerating rate if all these "converging information bits" pan out...

<Looks like Caldera and Turbolinux may be getting the SuSe X86-64 implementation> I fought hard to beat back Red Hat to secure the x86-64 port for SuSE. Red Hat kept going over my head to a "freind" at the highest level of AMD's management. I am proud to say that SuSE has done a tremendous job. Red Hat's x86-64 port would have been a disaster. Kap
