Hush, Pati! We're pretending that we are still seventeen and perky! Don't you sometimes feel seventeen again?...even in your heart or for a moment? A few years ago, my daughter, who was in her late twenties, was appalled that I stood on the top of a dune at Cape Cod, laid down and rolled...all the way to the bottom. I was covered with sand, with dune grass stuck to my hair. But, she took a picture and shows it to friends every once in a while, to show them how weird her mother is...(she smiles as she tells the story, so I think it's a compliment?) Hey, we're not trying to impress bosses or spouses anymore. This is what you get! Marie
