I've already acknowledged that I have a bias. I come to this thread from time to time with the hope of doing some good or to lend some balance or perspective. But mostly I have avoided the polemics here... As to the remark from Average...I think the motivation makes it an insult first and foremost... As to the prevalence of "guys", it is probably a combination of membership stats and testosterone. Testosterone supports any aggressive inclinations. Anyhow, you are here and you have felt free to give your opinions. I don't defend the actions of people just because they are friends, either. But I might be less objective in evaluating things. I recognize that being human entails being subjective. I AM subjective...but I don't think it is because I am a "guy"--just that I am mostly water.
