My guess is that the final Banias will be a lot faster than whatever Anand saw, but still way lower clock frequency than the competition. Personally, I don't think there is a large market for 14-hour battery life notebooks, because anything close to that won't be achievable with a decent screen size. (The tecchannel article didn't mention screen size.) How much sales did that 10" screen Transmeta get?
