LOL!!!

There will be, at least, slight support for 64-bits at launch. 32-bit 386 slaughtered its 16-bit competition, in the marketplace, even without any software being available.

Tell us, honestly, which would buy? AMD won't be pricing its 64-bit chip any higher than Intel's (high end) 32-bit chips.

Well, if that happens, then they probably also have realized that they don't really need all that much processing power either. So processor power won't be important, cost will. And then all the action will be in high integration and nVidia and ATI die and National and STM suddenly have the lead...
