Which is irrelevant, since AMD has Hammer, an unproven architecture on an unproven process, with an unproven host protocol and unproven topology from a company with unproven OEM relations. Isn't it clear to you, too, that the Itanic is sunk??

Well even though they can't ship any product, at least AMD has "World Class Yields". Jerry told us so and Jerry never lies.

No one in the "floating point world" really cares about Itanium's floating point scores. They have totally embraced clustering, so the key CPU spec is SPECfp/watt and SPECfp/$, and it that comparison PentiumIIIm and Sledgehammer will both smoke Itanium 2.
