T: While we both share a similar market view, I am slowly but surely moving away from puts. When one shorts a stock, the dough immediately moves to one's account. While I am obviously giving up the leverage inherent in puts, I am increasingly worried about "counter party risk" and the possibility that after a particularly bad day, someone might call me up to observe that the other side of my put contract has gone "TU" and won't be paying. Probably paranoia on my part. Best, Earlie
