interesting overnight currency action and talk from Japan
last week the Bank of Japan tried to drive down the Yen
it failed, and they blew $300M is my guess, maybe much more
they want the Yen to come down, thus helping export prices
but the currency market is too big and powerful
at the end of that intervention day, Yen closed even lower than when BoJ began their buying of Dollars

well, last night they made a WhiteFlag statement, like...
"we will allow the currency market to determine the right value of the Yen versus Dollar"

the Yen immediately gained almost 1%, which is a lot
at the same time the Euro gained almost 1%, which is a lot
the Dollar is now staring at another 200-300 pt decline
that should enable gold to rise past #330
