AA: do you have a page reference for Livermore's "sitting" quote that you are referring to? I've read the book a dozen or more times, but I somehow can't find it. If you have it tagged, I'd appreciate the page #. I keep puzzling at your interpretation that the passage somehow refers to trader's time frame. I've never read Livermore to suggest anything more than method, discipline and objectivity. Entries are a dime a dozen, but holding firm to one's own method includes alot of "sitting" even though the method may only generate trades that last for less than an hour. I'd like to read the chapter containing that passage you quoted again, if I could find it. ;)

Thanks.
