According to CNN, the FBI is alerting law enforcement agencies of potential threat against airliners after investigators concluded that al Qaeda operatives might have tried to shoot down a U.S. military plane in Saudi Arabia earlier this month. The FBI has no specific intelligence that al Qaeda is planning an attack using shoulder-fired missiles.
