The point is terrorism is a religious war (a JIHAD). Too few Westerners can stomach that politically-uncomfortable fact. Logical reconciliation and debate is invariably impossible when religious, philosophical presuppositions are incongruent.

Islamic terrorist are protected by those Muslim clerics commonly regarded by the West as non-militant, who condone the Jihad. As long as these clerics, including clerics within the US itself, are unwilling to voice condemnation of those terrorists harbored within their own mosques, war will continue to wax and wane. As long as Muslim clerics spew hatred, sighting their holy Koran as written references, for the justification of killing Jews and Christians, I give world peace a zero probability.

Not to belabor the point, but how about those “friendly” political figures, such as the Saudis, who finance terrorist and their activities across the globe with petrol-dollars?

Under such conditions, peaceful coexistence of Judeo-Christian religions and Islam is impossible. But this is a hot topic on too many threads already --

I guess we can judge the religious tree by the fruit it bears (pun intended) to the Market. A given is terrorist attacks will continue and the market will suffer.
