T, I probably would have never made it that far in the Corolla. I gave it to my father, then, when he bought a new car, we gave it to my nephew. He didn't like it because it wasn't cool, so he traded my brother for some POS that lasted about another year or so. My brother is a mechanic and he has a very long commute on the freeway every day, so his miles were easy and he was able to fix any little problems. I wouldn't even have known they were problems and I mostly drive around town, which isn't as good for the engine.

The old Dodge Darts were great. The Barracuda was o.k., too. But, like Italian mfrs., Chrysler has often put a premium on looks vs. quality. I think the Prowler is one of the great looking cars of all time. The PT Cruiser isn't my cup of tea, but they are appealing to many and definitely unique. The fast sports car looks good, too, unless you are pushing the sucker. I can't remember their name right now. But no quality at all.
