Intel and AMD will be beating on each other, brutally, in an increasingly close battle for CPU market supremacy, for the next couple of years.

What makes AMD interesting, as an investment, is flash. AMD/Fujitsu seems to be holding all the cards in flash. AMD/Fujitsu quarterly flash sales could equal AMD's total prior year total sales during 2003, with AMD receiving 2/3 of FASL's sales, recently.
