John I am with you!!! The oil industry if not already should have a bond for billions for any clean up potentially necessary... Then we should drill where we can find oil. Pay the gov. billions of dollars for rights to drill. Seems we could use the money for all the programs congress keeps approving. If the economics pays out they will drill , if not they can go else where.... It the same crap not in my back yard.. go somewhere else to provide me with heat, electricity, transportation fuel and lubrication.
