Dave, the Celery got a few more states to enact legislation. But the first Allantes were so bad that the co. stopped arguing with the folks who paid over $70,000 (in 1985, if I remember correctly) for a car that was a huge paperweight. They eventually got them up to where they were just bad cars, but, by then, their name was dirt with luxury car buyers.

The new T-Bird looked to be heading that way. The first batches were crap on a stick. Ford delayed the introduction to fix them so they'd work for a little while.

Moral of the story: "the people" shouldn't own cadillacs, they don't deserve them. Let 'em eat Neon's, Tercel's, Chevy Impala's....or Ford F150's!<G>
