I really fear what is happening behind the scenes right now. I think the US knows it must completely get rid of Saddam. This will mean a MASSIVE ground war. The passages from which oil flows will be shut. The world economies will be destroyed. I think the US also knows that there will be a massive terrorist attack within the US. I don't think most Americans are prepared or even really believe this. Either way, whomever begins the war, it will be horrible and worldwide. It will cripple the stock markets and most people will lose all monetary wealth they have, but the death toll will be so high, that they may actually not think about the money for once. On a side note -- I do think this will make gold actually go beyond the $1,000 level, so if you live and have gold and gold stocks, you will be worldly wealthy until the end of the age -- but the sheer horror of what will be happening will make this forgetful. There seems to be terror warnings, troop movement, shifts around the globe, etc. that all point to this conclusion. The USA understands this, but what they don't seem to get even yet, is this is a war from Islam -- not Bin Laden, Saddam, Arafat, etc. They are simply pawns. It is a holy war against ALL that is not Islam. Every mosque in the USA is a place of planning for this war. America and Americans are SO blind. The political correctness and Clinton philosophy has kept eyes blind to what has been happening. If I did not have an eternal perspective, I would be scared poopless! Everyone should pray for their families to be able to make it through the times that are coming. I remain, SOROS p.s. Even with no terror, I think Americans are finally becoming aware of the Stock Market scam that has been put over on them. They have only seen the tip of the iceberg of companies that have massive debt, paid analyst's reports to run stock prices, and eventual failures. The American public has been scammed by the companies, the analysts, and the government. I am personally buying gold and gold stocks (heavy Seabridge because of the leverage) to try and profit in the time that is left. Perhaps the money can do some good during the chaos coming.
