While, I am not sure whether The Others actually indeed copied the Six Sense. But what made me likes the movie is it creates a chilling, haunting atmosphere for the the moment it starts, and the dreary and sinister feeling permeates the house, with the intensity accelerating without the help of graphical blood and gore. It is more chilling and scarier. Too many movies abuses gore and blood to such an extent, it desensitizes the audience. But the Others is a rare example on the contrary.
