08:00 ET SIA reports 8.2% decline in April Semi Sales : The SIA reported that April Semiconductor sales fell 8.2% yr/yr but improved 11.1% sequentially. According to SG Cowen, the yr/yr number represented the smallest decline since 3/01. Among strong sub-segments in terms of sequential growth were PLDs, Flash, SRAM, Analog, microcontrollers, and discretes.

Gee, I think what we need is a "Whitewater" investigation. If it was good enough for the Republicans to investigate BillC's possible shady business dealings, then it should be OK also for DickC.

Oh wait, right, I forgot. According to DickC, questioning our leaders about their possible shady dealings would be "unpatriotic" at this time. Never Mind.
