i think rumsfeld is on the way there to convince
the two parties that might doesn't make right (unless it does of course)

doubt war starts over the weekend, so i expect
markets to be flat to up thru tues/wed

Well, that was my thought yesterday when I reloaded my puts at about 1630 or so <g>.... Still early, maybe 1645 will hold. But I always expect Mr. Market to surprise me so they will probably gun it to 1660, 1675, or 1700 (velo's resistance numbers). tim

I do not believe India and Pakistan have much to do with the weakness in the market. Anyone with half a memory will recall they do this about once a year at about the same time. This time it is a bit more intense because of a weak president in Pakistan and the presence of US troops.

If Greenspan farts the markets react more than they do to war of words and theats between India an Pakistan.
