Well, I live in the UK. The education system here is very good. Not so sure about health care. The standards in the USA are streets ahead both in medical and dental care. Of course.... providing you can afford it.
The way I look at it is that doctors, nurses, hospitals etc have to be paid for one way or another. I am fairly certain a large amount of money fed into the British NHS is syphoned off into folks pockets abusing the system. Standards are being lowered all the time, and appalling delays and shortages. The USA has problems with malpractice suits. A good case for strong government to fix all these problems. I think the best way to go is private health and government sponsored medical insurance for all. There is no doubt in my mind it needs monitoring.
