What do you suppose made the difference? (re: the South Koreans) Honest hard work ethic of the people! Democratic atmosphere in which to work and live! Lots of financial help and moral support from outside! Determination of America and South Korea to ensure S. Korean success to show the North Koreans what sweet success they were missing! Regarding the suicide bombings, I regret to learn they have reverted back to targeting civilians. What a shame! It may be that, given the heightened alertness of the Israelis brought on by the recent spate of suicide bombings, it is now next to impossible to penetrate into Israeli military area or even close to them. You who live very close to the Arabs obviously know a lot of things first hand and I therefore respect your viewpoints even though I disagree with you here and there to varying extents. I didn't know that the Arabs spend most of the free time copulating and/or making babies rather than improving their social conditions. No wonder their religion imposes at least one month of "fasting" and a limitation to a maximum of 4 wives at any one time. <ggg> But producing more babies may yet work out to be in their favor. You see, first of all, there is a kind of "safety" in numbers. Since the West's population is virtually stagnating, the larger Arab population could turn out to be a plus for them!!!
